my mother designing the catalog for our family business as a youngster, little did I know that it would spark an interest in art that would persist throughout my life. By the age of 15, I progressed from observer to designer and eventually created most of the print and online media for the company. A few years and a lot of school later, I landed my first in-house position and since then I’ve done such a variety of design work that it boggles even my mind.
For five years, I have been part of an incredible team at Dallas-based Blockdot Inc. where I was able to create for some of the most recognizable brands in the country including Microsoft, Anheuser-Busch, and Universal Pictures. My diverse duties included designing online games, iPhone and iPad apps and websites - as well as collateral print media. Prior to Blockdot, I worked at Buckner Productions in Dallas, designing graphics for video and print, and evolving as a video editor and motion-graphics artist.
I am very lucky to be able to work doing something I love and there’s almost nothing I love more than creating visual masterpieces - even in my spare time. When I’m not working on an art project, I am tinkering with my 1976 Datsun Z-car or raising a flock of backyard chickens at my home in East Dallas.
